Molly Vogel
Secretary
It is an honor to serve as BKAF Secretary. I believe in the foundation’s mission to serve Kennedy students and their families who are interested in extracurricularactivities. I’m convinced these after-school activities are the building blocks for success through teamwork lessons, leadership opportunities, and life-long friendships!
My husband, Joe, and I made Bloomington our home in 2004. We are an active-duty Army National Guard Family. We have 3 children. William (Kennedy Alum ’25) is starting this fall at St. Olaf College in Northfield. Graydon is a sophomore at Kennedy. Ava is a 3 rd grader at Hillcrest Elementary dreaming of being an Eagle in the future! We encourage our children to participate in all activities on the stage, rink and field! We’re Kennedy’s loudest baseball fans!
Professionally, I was a manager at Macy’s for 15 years. In 2017, I started mycareer working for the Federal Government. I served as a Soldier and Family Readiness Specialist at The Bloomington Armory working with individual Soldiers and Families during their times of need. Since that role, I am a Brigade Preventionist supporting the 1/34 Armored Brigade Combat Team for the Minnesota Army National Guard.
Previously, I have volunteered as a coach for Bloomington Traveling Baseball Association, Bloomington Blast Softball Association, and served as a Faith Formation teacher at St. Bonaventure Catholic Community. I believe volunteering is a protective factor for fostering positive connections; I encourage others to find their passion and get involved!
